Advisory Committee

The IndiaBUILDS Advisory committee is co chaired by Smt. RajshreeBirla, Chairperson, Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiatives and Rural Development Group of Companies and Mr. Pramit Jhaveri, Citi Country Officer India.

The co-chairs will work in partnership with senior Habitat for Humanity leadership, senior HFH Asia Pacific personnel, HFH India staff and board of directors to provide advice and counsel for the activities related to the IndiaBUILDS campaign.

The mandate of the Advisory Committee is:
Strategic leadership: Provide counsel on the overall plan in such areas as mobilizing supporters, partners, funds, volunteers and overall direction to ensure success of the IndiaBUILDS.

Raise resources and profile: Make and seek donations based on a member’s financial ability; develop a list of potential supporters and donors; make introductions and arrange meetings with potential supporters and donors; and where possible, attend those meetings with potential supporters and donors.

Advocate: Advocate the cause of elimination of poverty housing

Lend support: Lend support to programs under the IndiaBUILDS Campaign viz.Women IndiaBUILDS and Join John’s Brigade
